Designed to provide a progression of ideas from the principles of refraction in prisms to the properties of lenses. Each Perspex prism is in the form of a narrow isoceles triangle 15 x 60 x 20 mm (base x height x thickness). When placed base to base a convex lens may be simulated, and a concave lens when vertex to vertex.

890/SP SPECTROMETER
With triangular base and open tapered circular scale. The scale is divided 0- 360° x 1 °. Independently rotatable with locking screw. A spring loaded vernier is attached to the telescope mount and moves along the main scale giving reading of 6 minutes of arc.
